Combining Clinical Validation with User-Centered Design
Existing treatments come with their own drawbacks. SSRIs are prescribed off-label for premature ejaculation and can cause a decrease in libido and erectile dysfunction as side effects, while topical anesthetics can delay ejaculation but may diminish sensation and disrupt spontaneity.

During research, participants recorded their performance across four intercourse occasions without the device and four with it. More than 80 percent experienced significant improvement, with average ejaculation latency doubling and some participants recording a fourfold increase. All participants reported greater overall satisfaction, while 50 percent reported increased orgasmic intensity. The findings, published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, provide a peer-reviewed account of the study’s results.
Feedback from approximately 7,000 users of the first-generation prototype in2 device in the U.S. informed the design of in2 Smart. Requests for adjustable intensity and remote control were incorporated, and a reusable pod supported by disposable pads was developed.

Evaluating Sexual Wellbeing Wearables for Clinical Use
Premature ejaculation presents a difficult purchasing decision for healthcare providers introducing sexual wellbeing wearables.
